Logo Design for BRICKMONSTER, Berlin

BRICKMONSTER – that’s Pascal Lenhard from Berlin. From thousands of tiny LEGO building blocks, he creates true masterpieces that are (in both senses of the word) gigantic. As a freelancer, Pascal he works directly for LEGO as well as for other clients. His lovingly designed, detailed projects can be seen at fairs, exhibitions and corporate events. In the course of his founding process Pascal needed a new logo matching the already existing company name. After a few unsuccessful attempts, he asked Sebastian Klammer Graphic Design for advice. During the introductory meeting, the direction which the logo should go became apparent quite quickly: after all, what could be better than actually building a monster from LEGO bricks? What sounded very simple at first, escalated into a lot of tinkering. Various monsters were tried out, assembled, discarded, until at last the final design was achieved: a friendly, but nevertheless truly monstrous logo with as few elements as possible, so that it is still recognizable even in small sizes.
