Doritt Geitmann is a psychologist, family therapist, and family constellations practitioner based in Berlin. In her practice for family therapy and family constellations, she counsels clients—both couples and individuals—on family-related issues, during relationship crises, or throughout and after separations. In late 2019, Doritt Geitmann commissioned Sebastian Klammer Grafikdesign Berlin to redesign her existing website. The goal was to give the site a more modern and open aesthetic, ensure it functioned responsively across mobile devices, and streamline its content. The objective was to present all of the website’s content clearly and comprehensively on a single page, while displaying secondary content and forms dynamically via pop-ups. After a thorough discussion of her wishes and goals, Doritt Geitmann opted for an atypically dark design—one that conveys a sense of trust and approachability through its warm color palette and luminous accents. The new web design for the family therapy practice went live in December 2019.
