Web design for Berlin-based real estate company Steinwerk RE

In 2023, the Berlin-based real estate firm Steinwerk RE commissioned Sebastian Klammer Grafikdesign Berlin to design and develop a new website. Following extensive discussions regarding the client’s vision and ideas, a series of concepts were created that placed the company’s modernity and forward-looking orientation at the forefront. The final design was implemented using WordPress, empowering the client to independently manage and update the real estate website’s content at any time. The resulting website is highly modern, well-organized, and professional in appearance. The design is characterized by a combination of muted green tones, white, and various shades of gray—a palette that perfectly complements the real estate firm’s identity. These colors create an aesthetic that is both elegant and grounded in nature. Green accents are utilized for buttons and backgrounds to highlight key information. A clean, sans-serif typeface—featuring varying weights for headings and body text—underscores the modern design while ensuring excellent readability. A large-format background image (depicting the city skyline and TV Tower) is paired with a welcoming introductory text. The right-aligned text block, set against the dominant background image on the left, creates an engaging visual contrast. The real estate website is structured into clearly defined content blocks that combine imagery and text in a visually dynamic manner. An alternating layout—shifting between image and text placement—adds dynamism and enhances readability. Rounded “Call-to-Action” buttons, rendered in a deep shade of green, effectively draw the user’s eye toward key prompts for action.

The website also features high-quality photography of modern buildings and workspaces, further emphasizing the company’s focus on innovation and sustainability. Circular and rectangular images alternate throughout the site to prevent visual monotony and maintain a fluid visual flow.

The navigation system is minimalist and highly legible. A subtle toggle switch located in the top-right corner allows visitors to easily switch between the German and English versions of the site. The design of this website for a real estate firm conveys stability and expertise, while appearing both innovative and sustainable. The design highlights forward-looking themes through its choice of imagery and color scheme, and the clear navigation facilitates ease of orientation—a beautiful combination of modern aesthetics and functional clarity, creating an engaging digital experience.
