Unternehmenssitz: Schrobenhausen, Bayern
Projektumfang: Webdesign, WordPress
Projektzeitraum: 2013
Schrobenhausen asparagus is prized far beyond the borders of Bavaria for its robust, nutty flavor. Thousands of asparagus enthusiasts visit the city every year during the asparagus season, which runs from mid-April until June 24th. In 2013, Sebastian Klammer Grafikdesign Berlin was commissioned to redesign the website for the “Asparagus City” of Schrobenhausen. As part of the web design project, a redesign of the city’s logo was also undertaken—a logo intended to represent the city as a prominent asparagus-growing region.
The new website for the Asparagus City of Schrobenhausen was built using WordPress—featuring a modular structure that is easy to maintain and fully responsive across all devices. The custom web design helps the location stand out positively from the competition and provides easy access to background information, event dates, and delicious asparagus recipes. During the development phase, the design was implemented as a custom WordPress theme, incorporating all the features essential for the website’s optimal presentation. The website’s backend was overhauled to ensure that even users without technical expertise could manage and update the site’s content with ease and simplicity.
